National Operation Emergency has announced on Sunday that a person whom tested positive has for COVID-19 are refusing to corporate with contact tracing.
The Maldives is currently seeing a huge growth in number of cases and a lot of people coming in contact with the diseases.
In briefing given this afternoon, Spoke person Mabrook Azeez said one of the patient whom tested positive in Male’ city are refusing provide information to do contract tracing. The patient questioning is carried out by Maldives police service.
According to Mabrook the person identify would released if the the person fails to corporate with the authorizes. In spite of this situation Dr. Nazla Rafeeq has informed that the goverment is continuing to do proper contact tracing and some patients continues to support the authorizes on contact tracing.
