A person from Sh.Narudhoo tested positive for COVID-19

An individual has tested positive in Shaviyani atoll Narudhoo.

According to sources the person whom tested positive is man whom travelled from Male’.

This is the second island out side of Male’ whom have tested positive. The first Island to test positive is Ha. Uligan.

The person whom tested positive for COVID-19 is a boat captain. The boat captain had presented him self with flu to Narudhoo Health Center with flu symptoms. And the health center, based on his symptoms and travel history, requested the HPA to test him for COVID-19.
