
A patriotic soldier Muammar Mohamed was the first MNDF soldier to contract the virus have recovered and returned to active duty.
This was announced by chef of Defence force Major General Abdullah Shamaal via Twitter and thanked the soldiers for his dedication to the service.
The officer was first reported positive on 27th March. But back then the identity was not disclosed. The first warrant officer has also announced via twitter of his full recovery and since has started working to aid locals during the pandemic.
