A man has been caught naked trying to sexually engaging with a minor. The man has been caught in Haa Alifu Hoarafushi in a house.

According to local residents on the island have notified the young boy is just 16 years old and the locals from the island had entered the house to stop the act. Locals immediately notified the authorities.

The man was caught engaging in sexual activity with the minor when locals entered with police. According to the residence of the island, the man is married with two wives.

Hoarafushi Police Station have taken the man into custody and the case is under investigation.
