Economic ministry on Sunday has notified to all shops with permits to take the proper precautionary measure to help stop the spread of the virus.
The following measure would imposes on shops which has received permits by the Maldives police service for Greater Male’ Region. These permits would be revoked if the shops fail to do so.
Under the new regulations, shops are required to list the number of people allowed inside at one time. The number is also required to be displayed outside the shops visibility for everyone to see. The ministry has notified that staff in the shops are also required to wear protective masks covering there nose and mouth along with hand gloves during working hours.
In a recent statement police have informed that shops whom have permits also remain closed after receiving permits as well.
