Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has announced that a new feature has been added to its mobile application which allows customers could send pictures of meter readings.
As physical meter reading has been ceased due to COVID-19 outbreak in Greater Malé Region. MWSC has asked its customers to send the pictures of the meter reading. This new feature would help the following more easily.
Customers whom need to submit a meter reading would also receive a notification to their mobile phone. The customers would need to take a clear picture of the meter reading and submit it through the new button which would appear on its home screen of the application.
The utility company has stated that customers will receive another notification once the bill is ready and customers can pay the bill through application
