Ooredoo Maldives has donated MVR 2.5 Million to the government to aid the relief efforts to help combat COVID-19.
According to press release by Ooredoo, the following donation was given to purchase ventilators, testing supplies and protective equipment supplies (PPE).
The following was formally conveyed by the CEO, Mr. Najib Khan to the president Ibrahim Mohamed Solih. He also said that Ooredoo would remain in support with the government efforts to combat the virus and helping the local communities.
However, Ooredoo has also previously collaborated with the NEOC and HPA by providing connectivity support and digital solution. Also, the company has also extended play payment for its customers earlier as well.
