
Chinese company completes the labour quarters in Hulhumale’
Speaking in a press conference tonight. National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) spokesperson Mabrouq Azeez stated that the China State Construction and Engineering Corporation had not requested any payment for the project.
The labour quarters would hold 800 workers and was constructed under Chinese government aid. The facility has 800 beds with four dormitory blocks with one mess hall and kitchen along with two toilet blocks.
A second two-floor building in Hulhumale’ is also underway by Beijing Urban Construction Group. The company has 4p strong task force of workers with a 327 quarantine facility at the location.
