A young fisherman was found dead on Monday afternoon after diving into the water to catch bait. It has been reported the man is from Gaafu Dhaalu Gadhdhoo.

The fishermen whom died at sea has been reported to age 21 according to locals from the island.

The dead fishermen body has now been transported by speedboat to Gadhdhoo and taken to islands health center.
