A man in Southern Island of Laamu Gan has been arrested for suspicion of rape a young women.

Police have stated the incident occurred on 24 May and noted that the man had entered into the women’s house while being intoxicated. It has been reported the man is 28 years old while the victim is 20 years old. The police noted the incident was reported on following day.

The police have now brought the name into custody and the case currently under investigation.
