
National Emergency Operations Center has announced 101 positive cases of COVID-19 in the Maldives.
Speaking at a press conference tonight spokesperson Mabrook Azeez has said that until 101 individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 till 18:00 hours tonight.
Mabrook has said this results came from 476 samples that was collected for testing. He further noted 502 sample results are pending.
According to the Health Protection Agency, the infected patients includes 72 Bangladeshi, 21 Indians and 8 Maldivians.
This has been the highest recorded number to have tested positive. Thus far 453 recoveries and 1313 active cases has been reported.
