
A young couple pleaded in front of the presidential residence on Saturday seeking assistance to take infant daughter whom suffering from heart disease and requires urgent treatment.
Hospital documents shared by the parents over Facebook shows Yune Mohamed Yunan undergoing heart surgery in November 2019. The baby originally operated on Amrita Hospital in Kochin, India and surgeon whom operated on her has now moved to Lisie Hospital which does not cover Aasandha health insurance coverage.
According to the document the baby requires approximately INR 400,000 (USD 5,400) for the operate and one month stay in hospital.
The spokesperson from Aasandha stated that they are unable to take any more patients to Amrita and many of the patients are taken by private companies.
Due to less of assistance the father has taken to Facebook and has gone to the presidential residence. As the parents did not receive any support from authorising on her life-threatening situation.
Until now no government agency has helped the couple or is working to save the baby. The presidential residence has also ignored according to sources.
