Schools in Greater Male’ Region would be closed down after cases hike in the epicenter of Male’ region.

After the recent closer of schools in connected with COVID-19 the Ministry of Education had re-opened schools on July 1st. Schools in recommence for grade 1 to 10 in the islands while Male’ city commence teaching from grade 9 till 12. While these grade started grade 7 till 8 was planed to start school starting from August 16 on wards.

However, The Ministry of Education has mins ago release a statement has stated that even though the ministry had planed to open the school on 09 August 2020 after school holidays and mid term break. The Ministry has decided to close school starting from 9th August till 19 August due to the COVID-19 situation.

Furthermore, the statement has stated that the ministry is working on implementing ways to teach students without attending school grounds.
